Big Shoal Beach
Big Shoal Beach is located on the southeast part of the island off of Johnswood Road. Take Johnswood approximately 6.5 miles from the 4 corners, then make a right on Big Shoal Bay Road. This sandy beach is approximately a mile down on the right. There is parking and a public toilet. The water is shallow and the lake bottom here is relatively sandy making it a popular spot for families with small children.
